Network & Systems Administrators
are the information technology experts responsible for the efficient use of networks by organizations.
Responsibilities would include:
• Monitoring and adjusting
performance of existing networks
• Making recommendations for enhancements and implementation
of current and future servers and
networks
• Involvment in design, testing and
evaluation of network systems,
LANs or WANs, Internet, intranet
and other data communications
systems
• Client-server applications
Excellent interpersonal communication skills are required for troubleshooting and effective client interactions.
Recommended Education:
• Practical experience;
ability to demonstrate fundamental computer skills
• Technical training certifications
• Computer-related Associate's Degree or some college
