Media Player warning in Windows Vista
|
Symptoms:
While trying to install and run your CD Rom training on a computer with the Windows Vista operating system installed, you receive a warning that you require an upgrade to your Windows Media Player.
|
Detailed Information:
The Windows Vista operating system has undergone some fundamental changes from previous Microsoft operating systems. As a result, some software manufactured prior to the release of the new operating system do not run properly without upgrades.
|
Solution:
- If you have not already done so, insert your LearnKey CD-ROM training in
the computer and install the training.
- Prior to running a course, download the Vista-Velocity upgrade.exe (11.3 MB) and save it to your desktop.
- Double click on the icon on your desktop to install the Vista Velocity
upgrade.
- Once the upgrade is installed, run the training.
