Video is choppy or Video doesn’t match audio
|
Symptoms:
When trying to view a training CD-ROM, the video
may become choppy or the video isn’t syncronized with
the audio.
|
Detailed Information:
Most video problems occur because the video cards
drivers are out of date, drivers are currupt, your
computer doesn’t have the latest video codecs or the
operating system does not have the latest updates.
Typically, these problems can be fixed by installing
the latest drivers for your video card and/or updating
Windows with the latest patches and service packs.
|
Solution:
First, try lowering hardware acceleration to see
if that helps:
- Click on "Start".
- Click on "Settings".
- Click on "Control Panel".
- Click on your "System" icon.
- Click on the "Performance" tab.
- Then, click on "Graphics" at the bottom.
- Change it to half or less, and click "OK".
If the problem still exists, do the
following:
- Contact your hardware provider and
have them assist you in downloading and installing the
most current drivers for both your sound and video
cards.
- Go to "
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com" to download and
install the latest patches and service packs for your
version of Microsoft Windows.
