Labs and/or Pre-Test Freezes After Answering Several
Questions
|
Symptoms:
After answering only a few questions in the
Pre-Test or Labs sections of OnlineExpert, Internet
Explorer will freeze and appear to be
non-responsive.
|
Detailed Information:
The Labs and Pre-Test portions of OnlineExpert use
two destinct technologies that require it to work
properly. First, it uses pop-up windows to inform the
user if they answered the question right or wrong.
Second, Java Virtual Machine is sometimes used to
display real-word scenerio’s. If the user has not seen
a windows that indicates a correct or incorrect
answer, then a pop-up window blocker is probably being
used and therefore will not allow the testing to
continue.
|
Solution:
- Disable pop-up blocking on www.onlineexpert.com
or close any pop-up blockers that you may be running.
This may include many Internet Security programs that
include pop-up or ad blockers.
- Go to the Shadowbox OnlineExpert Utilities page and Download and run the detection utility to ensure that
you have all the required software to run OnlineExpert
effectively.
