This Requires Administrative Rights Error Message

Symptoms:

When trying to add a user or access the administration screen the ’This Requires Administrative Rights’ error message appears.

Detailed Information:

This error means that the user that is currently logged in is not a Local Administrator. LearnKey training can only be installed in a Windows NT, 2000, or XP under a Local Administrative login.

Solution:

Log in as someone with Administrator rights to the local hard drive and install the Learnkey CD to the default location
After the install has completed, a training window will appear and have these five fields;

First name
Last name
User name
Password
Verify Password

Enter the ’Power Users’ information in the fields and make sure you can see the training
Close the training
Download and install the following file: ’Velocity3_Upgrade.exe’
After installing the upgrade you can access the software by inserting the CD and letting it autorun to launch the LearnKey software.
