Initializing, Please Wait Flashes on the Screen and
Disappears

Symptoms:
The ’Initializing, Please Wait’ message flashes on
the screen and goes away.
|
Detailed Information:
This occurs because the velocity engine on the CD
you have installed is outdated. A newer version is
available and can be downloaded using the solution
below.

Solution:
Click
here to download the upgrade file.
Instructions: (make sure the LearnKey training
software is closed before continuing)
- Click on the link above.
- Select "Save" or "Save to
Disk". (Do not click "Open" or "Run from its current
location")
- Select the Desktop as the save location.
- Select "Save" and wait for the file
to download completely.
- If the Download
Complete screen appears, select "Open". Otherwise find
the file you just downloaded and double-click it to
run the upgrade application.
- When the Velocity
Upgrade application begins, click on the "I Agree"
button.
- Select "Yes".
- Select "Yes" if
you purchased the software from AOL Shop Direct.
Otherwise select "No".
- Select "Close"
- Insert a LearnKey training disk and begin training.
